Zoning Code Review Public Information Sessions: 10/9, 10/10, and 10/12
The Planning Commission is in the process of updating the City’s Zoning Code in order to align it with the Master Plan, to clear up ambiguous and vague language, and to make it more user-friendly. While public comment is welcomed at all Planning Commission meetings, the City is offering public information sessions outside of Planning Commission meetings so residents can get better acquainted with the process and potential changes, as well as to ask questions and offer insight.
There will be two public open house sessions held at City Hall, where residents can come in and review storyboards at their own pace. Each session will be staffed by someone who can answer questions.
Monday, October 9th, 3pm to 6pm
Tuesday, October 10th, 10am to 12pm and 6pm to 8pm
The City will then hold a Public Info Meeting at City Hall on Thursday, October 12 from 6pm to 7:30 pm. The Planning Commission Chair will present an overview of the Zoning Code Review project and then hold an open discussion. You may attend via Zoom at: https://zoom.us/j/7770202234?pwd=bTNUUnNYWFYxYkU0Zm5wOXlNSncxdz09.
Please attend to learn more about this important project and to share your opinions and ideas. We look forward to seeing you there!
