Playground Equipment at Zorn Park Beach: 9/15 Planning Commission Meeting @ 5:30 PM

Some residents are involving lawyers to oppose the City’s attempt to relocate Zorn Park Beach playground equipment at the park. The City maintains it has the right to relocate existing playground equipment in another section of its own property in order to address safety and ADA compliance issues. Still, in a good faith attempt to prevent a lawsuit and related expenses, and to give residents another avenue to express their opinions and concerns about preserving a children’s play area downtown, the Planning Commission will review the Zorn Park Beach playground equipment relocation at its 9/15 regular meeting at 5:30 PM at City Hall.
