The Planning Commission is holding a public hearing on Thursday, August 15 @ 5:30 pm to discuss potential changes to the Short Term Rental ordinance. Ordinance 439 adopting the new Zoning Code states:
In the area defined as RN in the Zoning Code of the City of Harbor Springs as adopted by Ordinance No. 439, the cumulative maximum number of short-term rental licenses to be issued and outstanding in any calendar year shall not exceed sixty-three (63), provided any short term rental license issued as of the date of adoption of Ordinance No. 439 with respect to property located in the R-2 Zoning District as defined in the prior Zoning Code, shall also continue in full force and effect.
