Aerial Survey of Electric Lines Starting November 1

The City of Harbor Springs Electric utility, through the assistance of a contractor (Gosling-Czubak), will be conducting an aerial inspection/survey of certain electrical lines in the system on Wednesday, Nov. 1 through Tuesday, Wednesday Nov. 8. The contractor hired to do the work will be using a UAV Drone to inspect parts of the electrical system. Residents in our service area may notice this low-flying aircraft as well as several marked vehicles.

This inspection is part of City’s efforts to enhance the reliability of the electric system through a continued maintenance/upgrade plan.
