Social Distancing Rules and Guidelines
As we enter the busy season in Harbor Springs, please keep in mind that the country is still facing a pandemic. The Center for Disease Control, the State of Michigan, and the Health Department of Northwest Michigan have issued rules and guidelines to keep the public safe. Please review and familiarize yourself with these rules so you and your family can enjoy a safe summer in Harbor Springs.
- Remain six (6) feet apart from people outside your household to the extent feasible.
- Wear a mouth and nose covering when in an enclosed public space.
- Frequently wash your hands with warm water and soap, or frequently use hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
- When sneezing or coughing, use tissue or the inside of your elbow.
- Do not participate in indoor gatherings that exceed 50 people.
- Do not participate in outdoor gatherings that exceed 250 people.
- Consider using online, drive-through, and curbside services if and when possible.
- If you have had contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive, stay home and self-monitor for 14 days.
- If you experience COVID-19 symptoms, remain home and contact your medical provider. Self-isolate from others in your household.
